Planning, making bulb pattern


Just a tease of what things might look like...

I'm starting with a few of the components while I finish getting my build area clear, and a cover built. I've purchased my lead for the bulb, and begun making a pattern for the casting. I also bought the lumber for the keel fin and rudder, and should have that cut up and laminated this week.

    Chad, Your i550 build looks great. What software are you using for modelling?

    Hi Derek,
    Sorry, never saw this comment. I use "Vectorworks" for my day job drawing houses, and it works ok for the mostly non-organic shapes of an i550.
